This evening, Mayor Small was proud to unveil the new official Amherst tartan during the opening celebration of the 17th Annual Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival! 
Inspired by the colours and character of our community, the tartan celebrates Amherst’s unique identity and the place we call home.
A special thank you to the festival organizers for giving us the opportunity to share this special moment, and to everyone who joined us for this exciting moment!

The Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival runs October 13–17, with workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations and special events happening throughout Amherst.
