E-Service Amherst: Our New Self-Help Customer-Service Portal

The Town of Amherst is improving its customer service by offering a new online portal you can use to make a service request. In addition to our traditional methods for requesting services - email, walk-in and telephone - customers can now visit our website and send service requests, complaints and notifications of an issue via our new self-help customer-service portal, E-Service Amherst.

How does E-service Amherst work?

E-Service Amherst has a drop-down list of services for you to choose or just start typing and the system will automatically make a suggestion that you can select. Then all you need to do is provide a summary with some details to ensure we have sufficient information about your concern as well as your email address. Once you submit your request, it is automatically assigned to the appropriate manager for review.

How do I know you're working on my request?

You will immediately receive an email notification, complete with a case-tracking number. Staff may contact you for further follow-up information. We want to ensure we fully understand and address your request as quickly as possible.
