PharmaChoice officially opened its doors on November 27 and is already making a positive impact in the community. The pharmacy is locally operated and pharmacist-owned, with day-to-day operations led by pharmacist and pharmacy manager Jennifer O’Brien, who is proud to be serving the community where she was born and raised.

The team at PharmaChoice is focused on patient-centred care, offering personalized service and taking the time to get to know their patients. In addition to in-store services, the pharmacy provides free prescription delivery within Amherst and to surrounding rural communities, helping ensure residents have access to the care they need.

“Opening a pharmacy here in Amherst has been incredibly rewarding,” said O’Brien. “Having the opportunity to care for people I know – neighbours, friends, and families – and to truly focus on patient outcomes is what this business is all about.”

The Town of Amherst is pleased to welcome PharmaChoice to our community. Find PharmaChoice on Facebook, or visit the website at www.pharmachoice.com. Open at 60 South Albion Street in Amherst, hours are Monday-Friday from 9-6, and Saturday 9-1. You can also reach them by phone at 902-667-6641 – they will happily take your call.
