What You'll Do
- Conduct research and update key economic data to support planning and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities that support business attraction, growth, and investment.
- Work with local businesses and organizations to strengthen tourism initiatives.
- Support digital content, communications, and promotional efforts.
- Assist with reports, presentations, and day-to-day economic development activities.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Education in Business Administration, Economics, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience in economic development, business, tourism, or a related area is considered an asset.
- Strong research, analysis, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using digital and social media tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
