Amherst Tax Services has a new home after 16 years of serving the community.
Members of Amherst Town Council recently visited owners Shawn and Larry Giffin to present a business certificate recognizing the company's move to a larger, newly renovated location at 37 Albion Street.
The father-and-son business has operated in Amherst since 2010 and has steadily grown over the years. The new location is the business's fourth in Amherst and marks the first time the Giffins have owned their own building.

The move provided an opportunity to undertake an extensive renovation, including new windows, roofing and electrical work. The larger space has also allowed Amherst Tax Services to add staff and provides considerably greater visibility for the business.
Amherst Tax Services focuses primarily on personal income tax returns and continues to accept new clients.
