Amherst a happening, busy place in August

Happy August!

We are fast approaching the end of the summer, but the fun has not stopped yet!

The Youth Track and Field Meet happened at the Rotary Park on the July 30, with great success! More then 10 youth showed up and developed their running, throwing and jumping skills in addition to having tons of fun.

Christmas in July took place on the 27th. This was a perfect time for members of the community to get a head start on their holiday shopping, with sidewalk sales all over town. We even held a snow dance at Victoria Square. This was followed by the showing of Iron Man 3. It was great to see everyone out and participating.
