Kicking off this week is the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge.
Starting on May 31 and going until June 16, the Town of Amherst is going head-to-head against communities from across Canada who, through the “Community Better Challenge,” are seeking to be recognized as Canada’s Most Active Community.
The winner of that title will be awarded $150,000 for local physical activity initiatives.
The Town of Amherst experienced a large turnout each day the tournament was held. The Amherst Ramblers fought extremely hard and made the town proud of their work ethic and dedication.
